History
Since its first event in 2014, Snow Forge has become an annual community-style traditional event for families in the borough of Old Forge, as well as our neighbors in surrounding communities. Always held the first Sunday in December, the event offers all activities for free, including entertainment, crafts, select refreshments, horse & carriage rides, and a 5x7 professional photo with Santa.

Mission & Goals
Promoting a sense of community and holiday spirit for the residents of Old Forge, Pennsylvania and surrounding communities, it is the goal of Snow Forge to host an annual event, providing holiday-themed activities and attractions at no cost to attendees.
From its beginning, the goals of Snow Forge have always been to:
Promote a sense of community and goodwill among borough residents, while allowing them to enjoy the many sights and sounds of the holiday season.
Promote friendship and holiday spirit among borough residents, as well as those in surrounding communities.
Provide a free holiday event for borough residents, as well as those in surrounding communities.
Offer local art and craft vendors an opportunity to display and sell their products.

Provide an opportunity for local children to participate in holiday-inspired craft projects.
In Memoriam
Jennifer Stone Cordiano
Jennifer Stone Cordiano was one of the founding committee members of Snow Forge—and in so many ways, she was Snow Forge. She brought the Christmas spirit to every meeting, every moment, all year long.
Jenn sold more Happy Hour Fundraiser tickets than anyone (and no one ever came close!). She organized the event volunteers with precision. And somehow, in the joyful chaos of the Kids Zone, she even convinced a group of elementary students to perform a mini piano concert—just one of her many magical touches.
Jenn was caring. She was selfless. She was strong. She was everything we needed, and so much more.
Snow Forge simply isn’t the same without her. And the Elves miss her more than words can say.
